Questions worth answering
Privacy, offline use, billing and what happens to your data. If yours isn't here, write to us.
Your training log is yours. Sessions are stored on your device and, if you enable sync, in your own encrypted account — we never sell data, share it with advertisers, or use it to train anything. There is no third-party analytics SDK in the app. You can export everything as CSV or delete your account and all its data from Settings at any time.
Yes, fully. Logging a session never needs a connection — the app writes locally first and syncs when you're back on a network. Gym basements are the normal case, not the edge case. A session in progress survives a locked phone, a dropped connection, and the app being killed; the elapsed timer is reconstructed from the real start time.
There is one subscription, $49 a year, with a 7-day free trial. It unlocks every feature — unlimited routines, full history, analytics, recommendations, sync and export. No tiers, no add-ons, no ads, and nothing held back for a higher plan. Cancel any time and you keep every workout you have logged, plus your CSV export.
Yes. Pivot is a native app on both platforms and one subscription covers your account, not a device. Sign in on a new phone and your routines and history are there. If you switch from iPhone to Android, nothing is lost.
You can import a CSV export from most popular trackers. Map the columns once and your past sessions, weights and reps come across with their original dates, so your charts and PRs start populated rather than empty.
A set is a PR when it beats your previous best for that exercise on weight at the same reps, on reps at the same weight, or on estimated one-rep max. It is recorded quietly with the date and the margin — a line in a list, not a full-screen celebration.
A companion watch app for starting a session, logging sets and seeing the rest timer is included in the subscription on iOS, with Wear OS in progress. Your phone stays in your bag.
Yes, from Settings, in one tap — the subscription runs to the end of the paid period and then stops. Your logged workouts stay readable and exportable after it ends.
