Getting started

From install to first PR in three steps

Fifteen minutes of setup, then the app gets out of the way. Here's the whole flow.

1About 10 minutes

Create a routine

Open Workout and either pick a ready-made plan or tap Build your own. Add exercises from the library, set your target sets and reps for each, and name it something you'll recognise at 6am — Push · Upper A beats Workout 1.

  • Three or four routines covers most training splits
  • Compounds first — the order you add them is the order you'll train

2Your first session

Log your first session

Tap Start workout on the home screen. Enter the weight and reps for each set and tap the check — the rest timer starts on its own and the next set is ready. Your first session has no PREV column to compare against; from the second one on, every row shows what you did last time.

  • Log honestly — a soft first session gives you a real baseline
  • Lock your phone between sets; the timer keeps running
3After 3–4 weeks

Track your progress

Once you have a few sessions logged, open Profile → Statistics and pick an exercise. You'll see estimated one-rep max, volume and top set over time, and any personal records with the date and margin. Use the trend to decide the next jump — not how you feel on the day.

  • Flat for three sessions? Change reps before you change weight
  • Weekly volume on your profile tells you if you're doing enough

The habit is the whole trick

Log every session, even the bad ones. Twelve weeks of honest data beats a perfect first month.
